Google Business Profile Secrets for Local Businesses

Digital marketing manager Google My Business Upholstery Listing

The world is still dealing with the global pandemic that has disrupted our economic lives as well as the status quo we have comfortably come to expect over the past decades. Despite all that has happened in the past year and half, this era remains a golden age for entrepreneurship.

Businesses are springing up all over the country. And while that is a good thing when you consider the wonderful effect that competition has on the quality of services and their pricing, there is still a lot more that many recent entrepreneurs fall short in.

Make no mistake; entrepreneurship is hard and I’m very aware of that. Running a business can be full of uncertainty and there’s nothing easy about delving into such tricky terrain. No matter how experienced you are in running a company, some surprises may come your way and cause unforeseen disruption.

But while the terrain can be harsh – especially when you’re operating from a ‘succeed or bust’ background, there are still many tools that can facilitate a much pleasant experience for business owners such as yourself.

At the end of the day, business is all about exchanging products or services for money. You can do all the fantastic things in the world but if your venture is not making money and staying in the green, all your efforts in other areas will amount to nothing because sooner than later, the venture will prove to be unsustainable – and before you know it, you will be forced to close down and go out of business.

Now you know your product or services are the best by a mile, yet, your phone lines aren’t buzzing with clients looking to do business with you. Why’s that? You’re simply failing at one thing; visibility. When nobody knows about what you’re offering, it becomes difficult for you to make any meaningful revenue from sales.

This book is a guide for any entrepreneur whose quality services deserve to be visible online and flooding with customers’ orders. Obscurity in business equals death to more than just a name; but to hopes and dreams as well.

The structuring of this book’s content is designed such that you don’t have to read everything before you’ll be able to take some action. You can simply skip to the parts that are relevant to your immediate needs and start making an impact on your business right from there.

If you find yourself holding this, please read it thoroughly and apply the knowledge and ideas contained within to the benefit of whatever venture it is that you run. It is a long read, but the insight you’ll gain from this would go a long way to benefit your business.

Google would love to work with you. Do well to be worthy of the opportunity when it presents itself. I wish you well as you embark on a journey to grow your business and maximize its potential.

Here’s how you’re losing online business to the competition

Last week, a competitor that’s less than two months in operation took a major client from right under your nose while you were looking to hopefully land a deal with a client of that caliber. Yesterday, the same competitor was contacted by another major client you would have done good business with.

The same thing is likely to happen again tomorrow, and the day after – and it’s bound to continue happening and making you lose business – unless you do something drastic to remedy the situation and turn around your fortunes.

You see, this new competitor that I’m referring to is not engaging in anything fishy. Not cutting corners or even undervaluing their services to attract these high-profile clients. In fact, chances are that your prices might even be more competitive – compared to what they offer.

The big difference between you and them is in something you’re not doing. Something, a tool, which they have taken advantage of and maximized to the benefit of their business concern – a wonderful thing we know as Google Business Profile or GBP for short.

Oh, and one more thing; that competitor is not fiction. There are competitor businesses taking up major clients as we speak because they are visible online and you’re not.
